If you're reading this then first of all thank you for giving this story a chance. It's a standalone even though Akira is a character that has already been introduced in 'Rekindled' (published on Wattpad) and if you've read it, you already know where Zeeshan is coming from *winks*. If you're planning to read 'Lost' and 'Rekindled' in the near future then I would suggest you to read it before starting this one to avoid spoilers about its main characters and if not, get on board with this one!

There will be a lot of banters and I mean it when I say A LOT considering the main characters are unhinged and sarcastic af! There will be Hindi dialogues here and there, perhaps some Gujarati and Punjabi thrown in between as well (because feels in desi >>>>) but English translation will be provided. This is a work of fiction, any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, events or localities, is entirely coincidental. A heads up in advance that I'm going to take a good amount of creative liberty so the portrayal of badminton and other things mentioned in the book won't necessarily align with how things happen in the real and that's okay because it's FICTION.

If someone is wondering why badminton and not cricket or any other popular sport.... because I've better knowledge about badminton so the portrayal actually won't be that bad (atleast that's what I hope).

Akira might be a single mother but she ain't broke so there's no poor fmc x rich mmc trope.

No trigger warnings as such and there will be a prior warning for mature content.

The pace of the story is slow initially but hang on because it gets better.

Criticism is welcomed, hate is not.

Update schedule :

I'll be posting the book both on Wattpad and Scrollstack. The Prologue will be out this Sunday and the first chapter will be out on next Sunday. Post that, there will be regular updates twice a week on Wednesday and Sunday till we reach chapter eleven.

After chapter eleven, three chapters will be posted every Friday on Scrollstack for 15 Rs, that is, 5 Rs per chapter, which I think is reasonable. No compulsion obviously but even if a few of y'all think my works are worth paying for to read, I would be really grateful. I understand not everyone will be happy with this decision of mine, won't agree to me but considering I've legit been working on this story since last August or so and sometimes, it takes days and weeks to write just one freaking chapter and push yourself through the mental block, I think it isn't wrong to be a little ambitious.

The updates on Wattpad will be one chapter every Sunday.
